NATIONAL CLEANLINESS DAY CELEBRATION AT NHLPS

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness." – Mahatma Gandhi

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School proudly observed National Cleanliness Day with a special assembly aimed at fostering awareness about cleanliness, proper waste management, and environmental responsibility. The event also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr’s Day, reinforcing his vision of a clean and self-reliant India.

Highlights of the Assembly:

Swachh Bharat Awareness: The assembly emphasized the importance of cleanliness and the pivotal role students play in achieving the goals of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Interactive Quiz: Ms. Pooja Vishwakarma engaged junior students in a lively quiz, testing their knowledge of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the visionary initiative by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji.

Skit on Environmental Responsibility: Students from Classes III to VII performed an insightful skit, demonstrating how small yet meaningful actions can contribute to a cleaner environment.

Poetry Recitation: Anushka Jain & Kratika Malviya of Class III captivated the audience with a heartfelt poem emphasizing the significance of maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings.

Speech on Gender Sensitivity: Ms. Nishika Khubchandani of Class IX delivered a thought-provoking speech on Gender Sensitivity, advocating for equal opportunities for girls and encouraging them to stand confidently at par with boys.

Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi: The assembly concluded with a heartfelt homage to the Father of the Nation on Martyr’s Day, honoring his legacy of truth, non-violence, and dedication to cleanliness. A two-minute silence was observed in his memory, reflecting on his invaluable contributions to the nation.

The celebration was a resounding success in instilling values of cleanliness, equality, and environmental consciousness among students and staff. NHLPS remains committed to nurturing responsible citizens who contribute to a cleaner and more inclusive society.
