Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated Children’s Day and Birsa Munda Jayanti with great enthusiasm on 14 November 2025 during a special assembly. As the school remains closed on 15 November, Birsa Munda Jayanti was observed a day earlier. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes before the portraits of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Birsa Munda.
A vibrant inter-house Dance Drama Competition was organized among the four houses — Sadhu Vaswani House, Dr. Radhakrishnan House, Swami Dayanand House and Sadhu Hiranand House. Students presented creative and expressive performances based on childhood themes and school life. Sadhu Hiranand House secured First Position, while Dr. Radhakrishnan House was declared Runner-up.
Students of Class X presented an inspiring act on the life journey of Birsa Munda, highlighting his courage, leadership and contribution to India’s freedom struggle.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. It was smoothly anchored by Class XI students Divya Athneria and Kanika Hayaran.
