Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani and Mithi Gobindram Public School Public School jointly celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour at the MGPS Playground, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of national pride. The event was graced by Shraddhey Sidh Bhauji, President, Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, esteemed Chief Guest Colonel Parwani and guest of the day Shri Surendra Singh, ASI, Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani, Secretary, Shri A C Sadhwani, Shri Rajkumar Mulchandani,Shri Hero Keswani,
Shri Mahesh Bhojvani, members, SHKES, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Shraddhey Bhauji inspired students to study with dedication and determination, instilling confidence and reminding them that hard work, self-belief, and strong values are the true keys to success.
Colonel Parwaniji in his inspirational address highlighted the importance of physical exercise and sports to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Ms. Amrita Motwani, Principal, NHLPS emphasized the significant role of sports in leading a meaningful & disciplined life.
A series of well-coordinated and vibrant performances showcased the discipline, confidence, and physical excellence of the students. The NCC cadets from both institutions presented an impressive parade, reflecting unity, discipline, and dedication. Students enthusiastically participated in yoga demonstrations, martial arts, aerobics, judo, karate, and Sqay martial art displays, highlighting the importance of physical fitness, self-discipline, and holistic development.
The celebration also featured exciting track and field events, including races, relay competitions, hurdle races, and fun activities for younger students. These events fostered a spirit of healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the participants . The celebration also witnessed prize distribution for winners of various sports events along with House Trophies. The Winners’ and Runners-up Trophies were secured by Sadhu Hiranand and Swami Dayanand Houses of NHLPS, and Dr. Radhakrishnan and Sadhu Hiranand Houses of MGPS, respectively.Game-wise Best Junior and Senior Players were also felicitated with trophies and certificates in recognition of their sporting excellence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri A.N Manikandan, Principal, MGPS followed by a National Song leaving the audience inspired and proud.
The Republic Day celebration was a memorable and meaningful event, reinforcing the values of patriotism, discipline, and unity, and reflecting the schools’ commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and socially aware citizens of the nation.
