Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, commemorating the revered Maharishi Ved Vyas, with great reverence, enthusiasm and gratitude, honouring the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds and guiding students towards a meaningful and successful life.
The celebration was graced by esteemed dignitaries from Bharat Vikas Parishad — Mr. G. T. Gyanchandani, President; Mr. Vinay Dadlani, Vice President; and Mr. Navrang Dhakad, Communication Head.
The programme featured dance performances, speeches and a meaningful skit by the students, highlighting the importance of teachers and the timeless bond between a Guru and a disciple.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries collectively motivated the students to remain respectful and sincere towards their teachers, value their guidance, and stay focused on discipline, honesty and personal growth.
Adding a special note of warmth to the occasion, the Principal extended her heartfelt wishes to all the teachers on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, appreciating their dedication, commitment and selfless contribution towards the holistic development of the students.
A significant highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of meritorious students who excelled in the Board Examinations. The members of Bharat Vikas Parishad honoured the outstanding achievers for their commendable academic performance. From Class X, Ms. Nishika Khubchandani and Ms. Maishika Sahu were felicitated, while from Class XII, Ms. Bhavika Wadhwani (Commerce), Ms. Roshni Aswani and Ms. Harshita Mulchandani were honoured for their achievements.
The occasion also recognised the dedication and commitment of the teaching fraternity. Ms. Pooja Vishwakarma, Ms. Rini Sunil and Ms. Kirti Mishta were felicitated for their sincere and dedicated service to the institution and their invaluable contribution to the growth and development of the students.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal, Ms. Rekha Kewlani.
