Fire Safety Mock Drill & Workshop at Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School organized a Fire Safety Mock Drill and Workshop on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, for students of Classes I to XII.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shakti Tiwari, who sensitized students about the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness. He highlighted essential safety measures such as:

Avoiding the use of lifts during a fire incident.

Staying low to the ground to avoid inhaling smoke.

Identifying and using the nearest exit routes calmly.

Immediate contact with fire helpline numbers in case of emergencies.

A live demonstration on the use of fire extinguishers was conducted, giving students practical knowledge on how to operate them correctly. The mock drill also trained students on orderly evacuation procedures, ensuring they remain calm and alert during unforeseen situations.

The session proved to be highly informative, empowering students with life-saving skills and reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility during emergencies.
