In response to the circular received from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, regarding the observance of World No Tobacco Day under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the School organized a series of anti-tobacco awareness activities to highlight the harmful effects of tobacco consumption.
On 29th October 2025, the NCC students of Classes IX and X took out a rally in the nearby colonies and market areas. Carrying placards and banners with messages such as “Say No to Tobacco” and “Choose Life, Not Tobacco,” the students spread awareness among the local residents about the dangers of tobacco use. Their spirited participation received appreciation from the community.
On 30th October 2025, the students of Classes XI and XII, in collaboration with the Science and Eco Club, Prahari Club,Health and Wellness Committee together presented a Nukkad Natak (street play) in the morning assembly focusing on the physical, emotional, and social impact of tobacco addiction. Their expressive performance and powerful dialogue created a strong impression on the students, successfully delivering the message of living a healthy, tobacco-free life.
These initiatives were conducted as part of the Nationwide School Challenge launched by the Ministry of Education to promote a Tobacco-Free Generation. The activities reflected the school’s commitment to fostering health awareness and social responsibility among students.
